Our Story
The Smart Metering and Solar Solutions Jamaica (The Company) is a private company founded in the year 2016. Understanding that besides metro-logical considerations, the company seeks to introduce a new tool that will help to optimize water resource management. The Company was then registered in the year 2017 with its main purpose of assisting consumers by providing them with an immediate user friendly and cost effective way to track and maintain their water usage without relying on their utility bill.
Our Vision
​The cost of living in today’s society has become too expensive which makes the need to conserve energy, food, water and other source of life, more important than ever. Over the years the use of technology has made maintaining conservation practices possible. Technology is ever changing, and so too must we change. The need to account for every drop of water has made the accuracy and versatility of today’s water meters more critical than ever.

The Automatic Meter Reading Solution is the developing technology that will help to ease the recording of water consumption. It brings more reliable data, helps reduce operating cost as well as increase revenue as it is designed to analyze historical meter reading data.
The application allow users to track daily use, assists in resolving issues as it relates to high consumption, low consumption and no usage.

Each customer will be given a login and password to view their information; they will have the ability to view relevant meter information in the database, however will be unable to make changes to such database.
For customers who are interested in monitoring their daily usage, this application will be very useful as customers will no longer be require to manually access the meters and will be better informed on how water usage is accumulated.
